ADRIE
Artistic and design research in immersive experiences. For artists, designers and creative professionals exploring the boundaries of IX.
The Artistic & Design Research for Immersive Experiences (ADRIE) grant scheme is aimed at newly formed consortia of makers, producers, institutions, and researchers. The consortia place artistic and design-based research at the centre of the development and application of immersive experiences. In doing so, they contribute to a strong, innovative, and independent field of immersive experiences.
Funding
The Artistic & Design Research for Immersive Experiences scheme consists of two application rounds.
Application round 2A
A total of €250,000 is available for the first application round. In this round, each consortium can apply for €50,000 to develop a two-year activity programme. No co-financing is required in this phase. A maximum of five consortia will be selected.
Application round 2B
Only projects that receive support in the first application round are eligible to submit a proposal in the second round. A total of €6,500,000 is available for this phase. Each consortium may receive up to €1,300,000 in funding for the implementation of the activity programme for 2027–2028. A minimum co-financing requirement of €400,000 applies.
Applications
It is expected that new application rounds for this scheme will take place in the period 2027–2028.
